Senior Dani Hall Photoshoot!

I was so excited to do Senior Dani Hall's pictures this morning! Dani is a very very very good friend of mine and I felt so privileged to have done her pictures. Dani has such a natural glow to her that it's not hard to force a smile. She was such a natural. We were adventuring to Swananoa to see if we could sneak around. We were totally stoked to see that when we got there they had opened the castle to the public and we got to go inside and see the beautiful rooms! We took some pictures in the tower and in the old garden. We even got inside the cabin and took some. There was no day more suitable than today to do her portraits. Dani has a cute style too. Here are some of my favorites. :)

Today was such a great day! I got to spend it with some friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life. They mean so much to me. We spent most of the day watching a marathon of this show called Pretty Little Liars that led up to the season premiere. So just imagine us in my house from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a 2 hour break... yeah. We made brownies and muffins, and we ate two yummy cheese pizzas from Ciro's. We like our food! 5 of us are headed to camp on Friday and I'm really sad we have to leave one behind. :( Although I am super excited for Madelyn, Anna, and Laney because this is there first time going! We're headed to Saranac in upstate New York for some fellowship and Jesus time! :) Well I guess you can tell how much I love them so much. Today was pretty freaking sweet because we started a whole lot of funny inside jokes like "WOAH BEAN!" and Meadle, Wheaty, Kiwi, Mere, Karebear, and Bean. :) Here are some pictures of our super fun day!

Mmm Summer Snacks

I absolutely love sitting outside and snacking on my Sundried Tomato & Basil Wheat Thins. I love them. They're so delicious. I only blog about things that are special to me so you know how I feel about my Wheat Thins. :) I have been upgrading my blog thanks to Meredith! She's such an amazing friend of mine and she was so willing to help me when I asked her for some advice on how to mess around with my HTML's and Templates.

I don't know why I have yet to blog about owls. Speaking they are my absolute favorite animal in the world! I have so many owls accessories, it's great. I don't know what really triggered my liking for this animal other than the fact that they have cool characteristics. Here's 10 facts about owls:

1: There are about 220 species of owls.
2: Most Owls are Nocturnal,which means they hunt
at night and sleep in the day.
3: Owl's eyes are fixed into their sockets, that
is why they have to turn their head all the way
around, so they can see!
4: An Owl has three eye lids, one for blinking, one for
sleeping, and one for keeping the eye moist and healthy.
5: In most species, the female owl is bigger and darker
in color than the male.
6: Not all owls can hoot.
7: Owls are found on all continents except for Antarctica!
8: The elf owl is calculated to be the smallest of the
owl species. It's about the size of a sparrow.
9: Owls can lay up to a dozen eggs in the time line of
three days, meaning not all will hatch at once.
10: It is illegal to kill or capture an owl and you
must have a permit to do so.

So those are some of my favorite facts, chances are when I get older I will get the permit and go capture or purchase an owl and keep it in a huge cage outside! I'm not a fan of capturing wild animals but my owl's cage will be the size of my house so it's okay. (: I'll feed him whatever he wants. He will love me. Owls are also symbolic for being wise. Resolutions. Resolutions?

New Years Resolution, here we go... I'm not a fan of resolutions, but I chose to make one every year. Always managing to not follow through with whatever it was. Not this year, no resolutions for me. This year I am living to the fullest! Praising God for all he's given me and seeing what He has in store for me.

I'm finding quotes to live by each day. That's what I'm going to do. This year I want to wake up every morning and look outside and say, "Thank you God." and mean it.

Getting a license will be a big help in trying to accomplish past years resolutions. Back in a gym routine, getting to school on time. I feel like God has great expectations for me this year. I'm showing him I'm so ready. I want to love my friends like I've never loved them before. I want to spend time with my family more than ever. And most of all I want to walk beside God Every. Single. Day. I want to. Not a "I have to push myself to do this, this year." want to, but a "This is something I am ready for." want to.

This year I want Happiness.
